Welcome to the ABD, a group of more than 900 practising medical doctors including GPs, hospital consultants and other healthcare specialists from most major therapy areas, who believe that, as medical professionals, they have an important role to play in ensuring excellence in health communication.

Well-known to editors and producers for more than 20 years, the ABD provides a valuable source of independent medical expertise to all areas of the media. Our members are all practising doctors and many are very experienced in working with media as presenters, interviewees, authors and spokespersons.
