Working with the ABD
ABD members contribute to broadcast, print and online media across the UK. The ABD offers commercial organisations and charities running media campaigns the opportunity to communicate with its members and to brief them on topical issues.
All content for sponsored opportunities will be reviewed by the ABD secretariat to ensure it provides genuine health news that will be relevant and helpful to members and is not purely product promotion.
The following options are currently available:
- News flashes – available on both the home and members pages (dependent on content). The title or first line of your news story will appear with the ability to access the full story
- Press releases
- Distribute a press release to all ABD members and post the release on the members’ area of the ABD website
- Briefing sessions
- Organised by the ABD secretariat to communicate information relevant to a campaign or health issue to a select group of members
- Background features
- Provide a background feature to be posted on the members area of the ABD website
- Podcasts
- Provide a podcast of a specialist discussing a new treatment or approach to be posted onto the members area of the ABD website
